Baby Thank You

Good morning. Today I am sharing a Baby Thank You card.

I have used one of the Stampin' Up Whisper White Note Cards as the base. These note cards are a great size for thank you cards and great value as they come with envelopes. You get 20 note cards and envelopes for only $9.95. They also come in Crumb Cake.

To the note card, I have added a piece of Whisper White card stock which has been embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

I have stamped the three ducks from the Something for Baby stamp set using Marina Mist ink. The ducks have been cut out using the Baby's First framelits. They have been mounted using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Thank You from the Best of Greetings stamp set, which is no longer available, has also been stamped in Marina Mist.

I have added a piece of Marina Mist 1/4" cotton ribbon to finish the card.

You could use Melon Mambo ink and ribbon to change this to a Thank You card suitable for a baby girl or to Pear Pizzaz or Crushed Curry so it would suit either a baby boy or baby girl.

Do you know someone you could make some of these cards for?

Sale-A-Bration - Happy Birthday

Today my Birthday card features products which are available for free with a qualifying purchase, during Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration which runs until 31 March 2015.

My card base is Calypso Coral, on to which I have mounted a piece of the Sale-A-Bration Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper.

I have stamped my image, which is from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Big Day, onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I have coloured the word Cake using Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral Blendabilities. The image and the Designer Series Paper behind it have been cut out using the Starburst framelits.

The card has been finished by adding three buttons from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack.

I think this card is bright and cheerful. What do you think?

Sale-A-Bration - Lotus Blossom

Good morning.

Today I have a Birthday card made using the Lotus Blossom stamp set. This stamp set is available free during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying purchase.

The Lotus Blossom has been stamped using Strawberry Slush and Pink Pirouette ink. The Lotus Blossom is a three step stamp but because it is a polymer set it is very easy to line up the images without the need for a Stamp-a-ma-jig.

I have stamped stamp 1 with Strawberry Slush at full strength, stamp 2 with Strawberry Slush stamped off once before stamping over image 1 and stamp 3 with Pink Pirouette at full strength.

My card base is Strawberry Slush onto to which I have matted a piece of Strawberry Slush Designer Series Paper. The Whisper White mat has been stamped using the Happy Birthday from the Butterfly Basics stamp set. I have used my Circles Collection framelits to cut a Strawberry Slush circle and to cut the Lotus Blossom. The ribbon trim is Strawberry Slush Stretch Ruffle Trim which is, unfortunately retired.

Other colour combinations that I have tried are Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe and Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder. These are just a few more options, but there are many more.

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to try out this great stamp set.

Starting Out

Hello and welcome to my blog.

This is my first post. I plan to share my cards and other paper crafts with you on a regular basis

I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator so most of what I share will be made using Stampin' Up products.

Today I have a Birthday Card made using products from the current Occasions Catalogue.

The card base is Blackberry Bliss - one of the 2014-2016 In Colors.

I have used the Painted Blossoms Designer Series Paper on my card today.

The Soft Sky circle behind the Butterflies thinly die has been embossed with the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and my butterfly cut using Blackberry Bliss.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Whimsical Words.

Basic Pearls have been used to finish off the card.

I hope you like it.
